Our art expresses our sense of wonder and delight with the
experience of living in the physical world and allows us to
deliver
to the viewer, regardless of age or cultural background,
that same
sense of wonder and delight.
We begin as figurative realists, taking our inspiration from the
forms and shapes
of the natural world; then we add a healthy
measure of mythic content and its wealth
of references to that
part of 'reality' not viewed straight-on; but only perceived with
imaginative intuition.
This results in works depicting fairies, mermaids, fish, flowers,
etc., and their improbable juxtapositions with 'real' objects in
surreal situations.
